Wells Capital Management was formed in 1996 from existing investment management teams that have been in place since the early 1980s. We have the resources and backing of our parent company, Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., and the operational freedom to manage our business as a leading independent institutional investment manager.

Since 1998, WellsCap has grown to offer a full range of investment strategies through both organic growth and a series of successful mergers and acquisitions.
