FAQ: First steps to investing at dollarDEX
Step 1. Determine your choice of funds
Picking the right mix of funds is important. If you're not sure how to do this we can help you with our portfolio advice service or you can talk to a representative first. You can also browse our site looking at charts, fund details or our recommended fund list. Once you know which funds to buy, go to step 2.

Step 2. Open an account
Just click on the Open Account link. You don't need to maintain a minimum balance, and there are no fees for holding an account. Mail in the forms created and wait for an email to inform you that your account has been opened.

Step 3. Invest and make payment
Just click on the Invest link. Send a cheque for the total subscription if you are using that payment method. You can also pay by Internet banking, bill payment or fund transfer. If you are using CPF OA we just need to know your agent bank name and CPFIS account number. If you are using CPF SA we need to know your NRIC number. We ask for this information online and store it, so you don't need to remember it each time!

Step 4. Track your investments
Simply Sign In through our home page, and you can see the daily value of your portfolio. To buy more (or sell, or switch), just click on the buttons in the statement page. Of course, this time there won't be any paperwork. It's that easy!
